Unfortunately, it rained on the day of the event, and so instead of the outdoor ice-breaker that was originally planned, we headed straight for the restaurant, where the entire second floor had been reserved for us.
We sat at 3 long tables and dined and chatted, and about halfway through the meal some of the people at each table moved to another table, so that we could talk with other participants.
A wide variety of people participated, straight and gay, positive and negative, people from other countries as well as Japanese, and I was able to talk with and get to know a lot of other people. Although the cost of the meal was a very reasonable 2000 yen, the food was very good, and it was all-you-can-eat, so I had the feeling of having enjoyed both a satisfying meal and a good time.
There was an amusing surprise in the timing of the food that was ordered, because the desserts were served before the end of the entrées, and that turned out to be a source of a lot of shared laughter and conversation.
Toward the end of the event, when everybody was relaxed and chatting freely, we enjoyed playing jan-ken for prizes,and my partner was one of the final winners.
Thanks to the organizers of the event who found the restaurant and prepared the gifts, and to the staff of Place Tokyo, I was able to have a very good time.
I am looking forward to attending the next social event for couples. My sincere thanks to everyone!

「初参加のカップル交流会」 ショーン（男性／70代／－）
当日はあいにくの天候。
最初に屋外で予定されていたアイスブレイキングは省略になり会場へ向かい、レストランの２階を貸切で３つのテーブルに分かれ歓談・食事をして、途中でテーブルチェンジをして他の参加者とも話すことが出来ました。
参加者は異性愛者、同性愛者、プラス、マイナス、外国人と様々で沢山の人達と話せたり知り合うことが出来、食事は2000円ながら美味しい料理が食べ放題で心もお腹も満腹になりました。 後で注文した料理の出てくるタイミングがデザート類が先に来てしまったりハプニング的な事がありましたが、その事が笑いに変わったり話のキッカケになったり面白かったです。皆さんが打ち解けてきた終盤にはジャンケン大会があり、私のパートナーが勝ち残りお土産をゲット。
レストランを探したり景品の準備をして下さった幹事さん、ぷれいす東京のスタッフの皆さん、とても楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。
また次回を楽しみにしています。本当にありがとうございました。
